We did a Q&A with Sara to learn about her blog, style, and influences. Read her interview below!

Q. Why did you start blogging?
A. I started blogging because I was obsessed with makeup and skincare products, I was watching a lot of YouTube videos of all these amazing bloggers and the passion they had for beauty and makeup. I realized that I share that same passion with them and that I would be successful at blogging and sharing my passion with others!

Q. What is it about being a beauty blogger that gives you the most satisfaction?
A. The fact that I can help others in their makeup journey and I can share my tips and tricks, DIY masks for the face and hair, and to see how well everyone responds and that they love what I do fulfills me in such a way that I can’t even describe… it’s an amazing feeling to know that you helped someone that was struggling, or simply just giving inspiration to people I think is the most satisfying part of being a beauty blogger… (and also all the makeup I get to try ☺️).

Q. Who are your favorite blogs to follow?
A. My favorite blog that I visit the most is the Huda Beauty blog, and I also love visiting Instagram pages that have a lot of great content, nowadays Instagram is becoming everyone’s personal blog witch I think is very cool. I love visiting ABH Instagram, Desi Perkins, Carli Bybel, Lusterlux, Jaclyn Hill and Iluvsarahii… All these girls are so amazing and so inspiring!

Q. What are your absolute beauty staples?
A. Mine would definitely have to be the Carli Bybel deluxe edition palette, the Huda Beauty highligher palettes, NYX Epic Ink liner & Contour kit, Catrice brow definer pen and of course Hey Honey-Good Morning Serum!

Q. What inspires you?
A. If we are taking about makeup inspiration the girls that I previously mentioned are definitely my biggest inspiration. When it comes to life in general my boyfriend is my biggest inspiration, he is so hard working to succeed in everything he wants, so dedicated and such an amazing person, all that I learned about working hard to succeed in something is all because of him, he is the one that convinced me to start posting my makeup looks on Instagram! If it wasn’t for him I wouldn’t be what I am today!

Q. What has been your most exciting or proud moment since you started blogging?
A. My most proud moment since I started blogging till today is when one of my videos was viewed more than 1 million times. Also, all the reposts I get on my videos, the messages I get from people that I have inspired, I can go on and on… there are a lot of things that are exciting when you work as a blogger!

Q. What has been the most challenging aspect of being a beauty blogger?
A. The most challenging aspect of being a beauty blogger is definitely the hate all the beauty gurus get, everyone can comment whatever they want under your hard work and not think twice if that comment can actually hurt someone’s feelings. Most of the time those people leave rude comments on purpose and they have nothing to do with constructive criticism so I’m not really bothered by them anymore. I want to encourage all the girls that think about starting a blog or posting their passion on their Instagram or YouTube not to worry about the negativity and focus on all the positive things they will experience in this journey!

Q. What new beauty trends are you most excited about ?
A. Definitely highlighting for me has been the trend I love the most since it became a thing and also bold brows is one of my favorites!

Q. What beauty trends do you think should fade away?
A. In the last year I saw a lot of girls that over lined their lips so much that it just simply doesn’t look sexy or appealing to look at, so I really hope that over lining so much will fade away soon…

Q. What do you like to do in your spare time?
A. I spend 90% of my free time basically online, I watch YouTube videos, Instagram videos, and when I’m not online I love spending time with my family and friends, going out for coffee, and looking at our beautiful lake, it is so calming!

Q. What does the future of your blog looks like, where would you like blogging to take you?
A. I would love to grow on each of my social media channels, and I would love to start my YouTube channel- I plan on doing that in October, hopefully blogging will bring me a lot of success and a lot of followers that find my work inspiring. I hope that I will be able to share my passion for beauty and makeup with a lot of people and hopefully make a difference one day!
